Loyola University Maryland will celebrate a Mass dedicated to the victims of the tragic earthquake in Haiti on Thursday, Jan. 14, at 9 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Chapel on Loyola's North Charles Street campus. A collection for the victims will be taken during the Mass.
On Friday, Jan. 15, Loyola's student-run radio station, WLOY, will broadcast live and host a Haitian relief fundraiser from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. outside Boulder Garden Cafe in Loyola's Student Center. During the broadcast, WLOY will collect donations which will be sent to Catholic Relief Services and Jesuit Refugee Services to aid relief efforts currently taking place in Haiti. WLOY will raffle off Ramshead Live concert tickets, CDs, and other gifts to donors at the event.
