Loyola hosts the 2013 Ethics Week, Feb. 11-14, an annual series of speakers and presentations around ethical business and social issues. Events are free and open to the public.

Schedule:

  • "The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act & New Governance: Incentivizing Ethical Foreign Direct Investment in China and Other Emerging Economies." Assistant Professor Michael B. Runnels, of the law and social responsibility department, will present “The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act & New Governance: Incentivizing Ethical Foreign Direct Investment in China and Other Emerging Economies.” This talk will consider the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the problems created by cultural relativism when enforcing international anti-bribery laws.
