| 1.4 Freedom of Speech and Expression The College is committed to standards promoting speech and self-expression that foster an open exchange of ideas and opinions. The College encourages a balanced approach in all communications and the inclusion of contrary points of view. As is true with the society at large, the right of free speech and expression is subject to reasonable restrictions of time, place, and manner, and does not include unlawful activity.
