- You're helping students get a great education. Tuition only covers 75 percent of the total cost to educate each student. Your gift bridges that gap and provides direct funding for educational initiatives such as scholarships, technology upgrades, service-learning opportunities, and library resources.
- It enhances the value of a Loyola degree. Annual Fund gifts help to increase the alumni participation rate–the percentage of undergraduate alumni giving a gift to Loyola versus all members of our undergraduate alumni base. This percentage is a benchmark indicator of alumni satisfaction in rankings like U.S. News & World Report, which will directly influence top high school students’ decisions when choosing Loyola over other colleges and universities.
- It’s a vote of confidence in Loyola. When the people closest to the University participate in the Annual Fund, it speaks volumes about the value of the institution.
