Join us to sample a typical day of Kodály certification classes in methodology, materials, solfa, conducting and choir, that will provide music educators with engaging, highly effective strategies and fabulous kid-tested musical materials to use in their vocal music classes and choral rehearsals, as well as opportunities to stretch their personal musicianship and conducting skills. Sessions will be taught by AKI director Amy Branum Huggins and by instructors, graduates, students and friends of the AKI/Loyola Kodály Master's Degree program. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided, and teachers will take home an outstanding collection of songs, games, dances and teaching materials.
